What is Tricefy?

Tricefy™ is a cloud-based image-sharing, collaboration, archiving and documentation solution for medical imaging.

Studies are stored directly and securely to the cloud and are viewable from anywhere using a standard web browser.

Tricefy replaces the need for printing, posting, faxing and physical storage of imaging with a faster, cheaper and more efficient communication solution.

Is the Tricefy Cloud safe?

Cloud security is extremely safe and trusted by top financial and government institutions.

Tricefy is hosted in data centres run by Amazon Web Services (AWS), which employ industry-leading physical and network measures to ensure security and reliability.

In addition, the AWS servers that host Tricefy are medical-device compatible servers that ensure all compliancy components are met.

How do I collaborate with referrers and other physicians?

Studies can be securely shared with GP’s, referrers and other associated parties quickly and securely.

Sharing a study with another physician allows them to view the study, provide input, answer questions, and prevents patients from lugging around printouts of their medical images.

What is Tricefy Uplink?

Tricefy Uplink is the bridge that connects your ultrasound system to the Tricefy Cloud.

It is like the software version of Royal Mail: Your ultrasound system sends data to Uplink and Uplink delivers it to your Tricefy account.

Uplink, which can act as a light-version of a PACS system – or co-exist with any other solution – can communicate with multiple ultrasound systems simultaneously.

What imaging devices can I connect to Tricefy?

With Tricefy Uplink and an Internet connection, any device can be connected to Tricefy.

Tricefy Uplink is either already integrated on your imaging device or it can be downloaded
and installed separately.

Can I download a study or attachment?

You are able to download a study or an attachment from Tricefy.

Once downloaded, the original content will remain on Tricefy secure and encrypted, whilst a
copy that isn’t secure or encrypted will be downloaded.

How do I correct a mislabeled study?

You are able to download a study or an attachment from Tricefy.

Once downloaded, the original content will remain on Tricefy secure and encrypted, whilst a
copy that isn’t secure or encrypted will be downloaded.

How do I correct patient data?

The easy-to-use interface makes data correction quick and easy on Tricefy.

Patient information, such as names, date of birth and other notes can be corrected easily,
and you can also correct data using your imaging system and resend the examination to
Tricefy.

How do I attach a report to a study?

Non-DICOM files such as PDF documents can be attached to studies.

To do this, you can select a study on the Study list in the viewer.

This then will show an Attach Files section, where you can choose your file to include.

How do I resend an Account invitation?

If a user did not receive their account invitation, or requests that it is sent again, access the
Account Settings and select Members and Privileges.

Sent invitations that have not been accepted, are listed under Pending Invitations at the
bottom of the screen.

What are Automation Rules?

Automation rules automatically process certain kinds of images using metadata (email
addresses, names, labels, etc.) that are embedded in the study based on the content
entered into the imaging system.

Tricefy uses this information to automatically send studies to patients, apply labels, and
other automated actions.
